| A graduate of Central Michigan University, where Jerry attained a bachelor's degree in applied arts with an emphasis on photojournalism. After graduating from college he worked at several photo studios and then became a photo editor at a major metro Detroit newspaper where he worked for 19 years. For over 30 years Jerry has implemented the blending of these two photographic styles, (photojournalism and studio), to create a diverse portfolio while working on annual reports, brochures, and websites for major corporations as well as shooting for editorial and trade publications. He has won numerous state, and national awards for his photographic work. "Location photography can be a blending of available light and studio lighting, or a little fill flash. Either way, the goal is to create an aesthetically pleasing and compelling image." (Studio space is available upon request). |
